Crossroad handlebars

Post by Dirty T on Wed Feb 01, 2012 10:16 pm

A couple of months ago my bike had a tip over in the garage. thank god that there was no real damage to my bike.
unfortunately the handlebars took the brunt of the impact and of course with my luck are now bent.

i have had my eyes on a set of crossroad bars for my bike but just cant bring myself to ponying up 260 bucks plus shipping...

i did however found a fellow buller in Texas who was willing to part with his for about the same price as a set of new stock bars.

now the adventure starts with teardown, modifying and moving stuff around in order to get these things to work.

i will take before and after pics when i am done and can figure out how to post them.....

After the dust settled, i have my new crossroads. they were the easiest thing to install on my entire bike.

as for the controls and electrical that was a completely different story all together.

there were a few challenges in this. since i have my HID ballasts behind my windscreen things are really tight.

i will get pics later today.
